Ecclesall Deanery Report 2024
At the deanery meeting in June 2023 there was a talk from Sally Myers about Focal Ministry and how this can be introduced in churches. She is very approachable and keen to engage with churches about this.
In September Naomi and I met with Mark Brown (Area Dean) to discuss what’s happening at SAPLC and he was very interested and encouraging.
Bishop Sophie visited the deanery in November 2023 and many from SAPLC were involved in different aspects of the day.
There has only been one deanery meeting so far in 2024 which unfortunately Julie and I were unable to attend, but we look forward to catching up with our deanery colleagues though the year.
Events which might be of wider interest:
Training event on 27th April regarding accessibility for children, young people and adults with additional needs. This is being hosted by St. Chad’s.
