Friday 13th September 201912:00Heritage Open Day
Come to St Andrew's Psalter Lane Church and see our beautiful New Creation Window, designed by Rona Moody as part of major modernization and refurbishment work. Within this light and spacious church you may also find our rare Bernard Rice window (the Lady and the Lamp) and William Morris window. Volunteers will be on hand to tell you about the church and refreshments will be available. Our Church is an Anglican-Methodist partnership and we hope that the openness of the building reflects the open approach of our congregation. We are an Eco-Church and belong to the Inclusive Church Network. Shirley House, part of our premises, houses our Interfaith Centre and is also used for weekly Quaker Worship.

Thursday 26th September 201918:00Interfaith Food and Friendship event
Join us for both food and friendship; eat, drink and make new friends. People of all faiths (and food) traditions, or none, are most welcome. Sheffield Interfaith welcomes everybody who would like to come to the Shirley House Interfaith Centre, 31 Psalter Lane S11 8YL. If you have not attended before, these are bring and share dinners. To be inclusive of varying dietary requirements, most dishes are vegetarian (though it is fine to bring meat dishes as long as you indicate this). We love to share traditional dishes from different cultures. A kettle, microwave and oven are available to finish off or heat up contributions that need this. Savoury and sweet foods are both popular, there is no need to book or inform anybody of what you wish to bring, but if you have any queries please contact the Sheffield Interfaith website or the St Andrews Psalter Lane Church Office on 0114 267 8289. These dinners are organised and hosted by Sheffield Interfaith, they are not Shirley House Interfaith Centre events. Shirley House Interfaith Centre is open to all faiths and everybody, it is not a membership group.
