Monday 5th February 2018 10:00Knit and NatterWith guest speaker who will be talking about a scheme which has been set up in Hathersage. The aim of the scheme is to help combat loneliness by recruiting people to phone someone regularly just for a chat. Everyone is welcome to come along to find out what is involved and how the scheme started. If you can't get to the meeting but would like to know more please talk to Alison Gregg or Pat Rogers.
The Knit and Natter group welcome you to their regular Monday meeting. Knit, crochet, embroider, quilt or just natter. We work on our own projects or knit items for Operation Shoebox and Baby Basics. There is tea, coffee and cake. A voluntary contribution can be made towards the cost of materials.

Tonight we are joined by Simon Duffy of the Centre for Welfare Reform, who will be discussing Citizens/Basic income, an idea that could transform poverty and the benefits system.
